The electroforming tank is specially designed by using the electroforming process. The process involves electro deposition of metal and a model that can conduct electricity. However, the deposition and the metal can be separated after the deposition. The new nickel copy which is made is an exact negative of the Master.
The superb electroforming tank machine can be used to provide a constant supply of a supreme quality shims. It provides the advantage of making it independent of most of the production activities. The only factor that influence it is the preparation of the Master.
A standard electroforming tank has programmable shim thickness, temperature control, cycle duration control and function controls. Moreover, the machine also includes pumps and filters. It doesn’t consume too much electricity either as the power consumption is around 50KW, at the most.
Electroforming Unit for Preparation of Shim from Master
This equipment has been specially designed for the replication of Holographic Nickel shims by means of an Electro-forming Process. The process consists of Electro-deposition of Metal (nickel) on a model (Master) capable of conducting electric current. When the deposition is complete it is possible to separate from the Master a new Nickel Copy which is an exact negative of the Master.
